Ack, more asthma

Henry and Lucy slept over at my parent's house for the first time together last night. Cary and I had a so-so dinner at Sea Bar (the sashimi was tasty but whoever prepared it lacked knife skills, the Sojitos were too sweet) and split an amazing dessert at Butterwood.

All the while my cell phone remained silent.

We were most concerned about Lucy because she tends to reject any bed besides her own, but she did great. Unfortunately, Henry woke up wheezing at 4 a.m. and I'm pretty sure both my parents never went back to sleep.

Looks like we'll be off to the pediatrician tomorrow. I hope he doesn't need the nebulizer.

UPDATE: Henry does require the nebulizer with Albuterol and possibly Pulmicort. Does this justify the purchase of a Dyson Vacuum cleaner?

As someone who has suffered with asthma and allergies all of my life (and yes, I had my own nebulizer as a kid), when I was young, my parents went with a Rainbow vacuum. Everything that is picked up is suspended in water, not a bag. Not sure on how it compares price-wise with a Dyson, but it might be worth looking into.

You want a dyson? Buy a dyson.

Or just skip the vacuum and buy more beer.

lol no but it never hurts... my 8 yr old Deavon has asthma and yeah it gets a little rough at times but we are still battling it and his alergies... we currently have a dirt devil that gets every thing so my sons allergies are doing well at least inside... lol

We have a Dyson and I don't think it has made much difference for my husband's asthma. He still can't be in the area when I am vacuuming. He has to be in a different part of the house, closed off. It is a great vacuum cleaner, though.

(Saw your link in that Buffalo News article. I was reading it due to Jen14221, who is a poster on my blog.)

If only health insurance covered the cost of a Dyson!

Saw your blog mentioned in The Buff News and was intrigued. Way to go!
